Natural Capital Limited was established in 1998. Our core business is to offer public sector organisations and private sector companies assistance in managing their environmental responsibilities more effectively and adopting more sustainable business and development practices. We are committed to the principles of sustainable development and will strive to assist others in achieving a more sustainable future.

MEET THE TEAM
Phil founded Natural Capital in 1998 to focus on sustainable development, environmental assessment and management consultancy. He is committed to ensuring that Natural Capital moves forward with vision meeting the challenges of an ever changing future.
Annie joined Natural Capital in 2004 bringing with her many years of experience in all aspects of EIA, stakeholder consultation and strategic assessments (environmental and sustainability). Ensuring that environmental and sustainability considerations underpin the development of proposals is fundamental to Annie's approach.
Henry Collin joined Natural Capital in late 2011 as principal environmental consultant. With 20 years experience in environmental assessment, management and planning, Henry is responsible for delivering projects across a range of sectors including energy generation and networks, transport and infrastructure. Henry also has skills in sustainability appraisal, carbon management, strategic assessment, environmental policy and strategy and in delivering training.

Louise joined in the summer of 2011 bringing her background skills as an ecologist together with her public sector experience of Integrated Impact Assessment, community consultation and engagement, community planning and strategy development. She looks forward to applying her ecological experience to some of the portfolio of Natural Capital’s EIA projects whilst developing further her sustainability assessment and SEA skills.

Alex also joined in the summer of 2011 and as an environmental planner with landscape architecture qualifications she brings an array of complimentary skills to the Natural Capital team. She is keen to apply the experience gained in New Zealand to the UK situation and progress her EIA and landscape/visual assessment skills.
Associates

Emma Perring is a geographer, routed in the principles of sustainable development. Over the last 10 years she has used this approach to gain substantial experience in developing and implementing policy. She now specialises in social issues, including equalities and health, and has a particular interest in ensuring inequalities, particularly around income and accessibility, are considered and accounted for in any service or project development.


Jessica is an independent consultant specializing in capacity building, facilitation, project management, research and videography. Most recently she has been working with the World Wildlife Fund on their Global Markets and International Finance work program. This work focuses on building biodiversity capacity in the finance sector by providing consistent, clear and simple guidance to financial institutions on how to incorporate biodiversity and ecosystem services issues into lending and investment decisions.
